Munish Premchand's Birth Day

                                                                   

Munshi Premchand, a Hindustani literature (Upanyas Samrat) and Indian writer (novel writer, story writer and dramatist), was born in the year 1880 at 31st of July in the Lamhi village (near Varanasi). He is the famous writer of the early 20th century. He got died at 8th of October in 1936 by serving the people with his great writings. The birth name of him is Dhanpat Rai Srivastav and pen name is Nawab Rai. He wrote his all writings with his pen name. Finally his name becomes changed to the Munshi Premchand. His first name Munshi is an honorary prefix given by his lovers in the society because of his quality and effective writings. As a Hindi writer he wrote approximately dozen novels, 250 short stories, numerous essays and translations (he translated a number of foreign literary works into the Hindi language)

Dear Students,

About Quiz:

The Kargil War was fought during May-July, 1999, between India and Pakistan in the Kargil District of Jammu and Kashmir, along the Line of Control (LoC). This was the first ever Indian war fought, under constant media coverage. Frontline battles were taken into every Indian home, which generated tremendous public support. This boosted the morale of our young soldiers and encouraged them to accomplish greater feats. ‘Operation Vijay’ was launched by India to flush out the Pakistani intruders from Kargil. The war was finally won by India and the whole nation celebrated this victory. However, not all soldiers, who fought in those most treacherous conditions, survived to be a part of this celebration.

India is celebrating 21^st Kargil Vijay Divas on 26 July 2020 to commemorate the contribution of our warriors. To inculcate patriotism among students the Government of India is organising a national level quiz.

Terms and Conditions:

• The Quiz questions are designed carefully to assess the knowledge and
• understanding about Kargil conflict.
 
• Each question in the Quiz is in the Multiple Choice Format and with only one correct answer.
 
• This is a timed quiz with 6 questions to be answered in 60 seconds.
 
• You are allowed to attempt the Quiz only once and only one option will be accepted for a question.
 
• After responding to a question, click on the “Next” button to go to the next question.
 
• No negative marking will be done.
 
• After attempting questions, final submission should be clicked. No changes can be made after the final submission.
 
• The quiz will be open for 2 days, starting on 23^rd July, 2020 and will close on 27^th July 2020 midnight.
 
• To take part in the Quiz, the participants have to register on mygov.in and fill in the details in the form.
 
• Each participant will get a digital certificate of participation
 
• Those who secure 80% or more marks, will be given merit certificate duly signed by Secretary UGC, Director NCERT and CEO MyGov
 
• Participants can view their score after the last date of the quiz.

Wild Wisdom is an exciting and engaging platform to reach out to students and embed the seed of environment conservation through a fun-filled and interactive experience. Our journey began 13 years ago as a small school level quiz in just one city. By 2019, we became a global quiz that was conducted in 7 countries and 3 languages, with participation from 130,000 students from 65 cities and 1,200 schools across the world. It is not just a one-time event, but a focused engagement journey over several months that reaches over 1 million students across 20,000 schools.

Every year, we select a theme that would helpaz,`rt students explore and understand nature, and quiz them through fun rounds that focus on creating an experience they will never forget. This year, we are inviting students to “Re-imagine Our Planet”. How can our planet be saved from the challenges it faces? What solutions can help us re-imagine a future in which wildlife and nature thrives in harmony with humans? The quiz will help students understand solutions that can preserve our planet.

The key details of the Wild Wisdom Digital Quiz are asfollows:

·      Primary: Grade 3-5

·      Middle: Grade 6-8
