       World Book and Copyright Day (also known as International Day of the Book or World Book Day) is observed on April 23, 2020. The annually celebrated day is organized by UNESCO to promote reading,recognize and respect authors and books, publishing and copyright. It was first celebrated in 23rd April 1995.

Theme: " CARING THROUGH READING"

        
Malaysia, KualaLumpur is chosen to be the World Book Capital for 2020. The slogan for world book and copyright day 2020 is "KL Baca – "Caring Through Reading". Also every year, there is a different theme or a different set of themes. So for the International Book Day 2020, there are four themes which include-
1. Reading in all its forms
2. Development of the book industry infrastructure
3. Inclusiveness and digital accessibility
4. Empowerment of children through reading

                On International Day of  Mother Earth ,  today we are celebrating Earth Day 2020.  It was First celebrated in the year 22nd April, 1970.  Now we are celebrating  in this year 50th Anniversary of Earth Day.

DOWNLOAD AROGYA SETU MOBILE APP TO FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19(CORONA VIRUS)




The Aarogya Setu app was officially released this month by the Government of India for iOS and Android users. Aarogya Setu is a COVID-19 tracking app aimed at ensuring citizens are informed and updated.  During his address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged citizens to use the app. According to PM Modi, the app could subsequently be used as an e-pass to facilitate essential travel.  Aarogya Setu is a mobile application developed by the Government of India to connect essential health services with the people of India in our combined fight against COVID-19. The App is aimed at augmenting the initiatives of the Government of India, particularly the Department of Health, in proactively reaching out to and informing the users of the app regarding risks, best practices and relevant advisories pertaining to the containment of COVID-19.

BRICS MATHS ONLINE TEST FOR THE YEAR 2020


 Dear Students,


Please prepare for this competitionIt starts from April 22–May 22, 2020


The First round  consists of( preparatory round)  the best tasks of previous years’ competitions and provides an opportunity to practice. 
The  preparatory round  result will be announced on May 22.

 The Second round means Trial round will starts from July 21–Sep 13, 2020.  The trial round gives one opportunity to  practice before the main round.

The final & Main round duration of the time is 60 minutes.
 It will starts from Sep
14–Oct 30, 2020.  
In the main round, students have 60 minutes to complete the entire task. 

  • NOTE:Once the student logouts, the test is automatically submitted.
  • It is not mandatory to complete the trial round to participate in the main round.
  • For students from 1-12 grade can participate.
  • For students participation fee free of cost
